This site is a tribute to Mary Cooke, who was born in London on October 10, 1946. She is  a much loved wife, mum, sister, aunt, friend and will always be remembered.

Mum bravely lived with Ovarian Cancer for 2 years, displaying enormous strength and determination to carry on as normal.  When asked to take part in a medical trial, mum (who was a nurse for many years) said "I have to take part, it is part of who I am as a nurse and if others hadn't done the same things years ago then the treatment I have already had would never have become available." 

In setting up this page we hope that we can continue mum's wishes to help medicines and treatments advance, to help raise the funds needed to support research and medical trials and ultimately help more women to survive ovarian cancer.
